Local Authorities
Local authorities are often best placed to tackle fly-tipping in their area. The fly-tipping intervention case studies below are from local authorities across England highlighting key learnings from projects to tackle fly-tipping.
These enable others to learn from trialled interventions, such as beautification of hotspots and improving infrastructure. These fly-tipping interventions are examples of partnership working, raising awareness of household waste duty of care, and supporting enforcement activity with CCTV.
